Heart Boke - Town Kotor
The town of Kotor is not courted, but it is appealing to all who want to escape from the classic tourist crowds. Although without the pebble beaches, the town under Lovcen's haven is near the quiet places to relax in Dobrota, Prčanj, Stoliv, Perast, Risan. Kotor is a village in the Kotor municipality in Montenegro, located on the shore of the Boka Kotorska Bay.
The old town is endangered by magnificent ramparts, which continue to sail St. John's (San Đovani) hill in total length of 4.5 kilometers. The thickness of the wall is somewhere up to 15 meters, and the height is 20 meters. Towns like Kotor are simply not in the world. Being in Kotor simply means to feel the spirit of the only fjord in the Mediterranean, the spirit of one of the officially most beautiful bays on the planet Earth - the spirit of Boka Kotorska. Kotor is the only town on the eastern Adriatic coast that is always named on all historical maps. It is the only Mediterranean city - a whore, which gives it a special charm during the tourist season. The narrow streets, the fascinating squares, the church and the palate, are the mainstay of adut Kotor. The landscape of this town is spectacular, with vertical cliffs on the shore.
In 1979, Kotor was protected by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage.
